Maya Benberry, who won the “Catching Kelce” reality show in 2016, has revealed that she’s been receiving death threats from Taylor Swift supporters after speaking out about her past relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs superstar.

Benberry has been sharing her dating experience with Kelce following Swift’s appearance at the Chiefs game on Sunday. She has accused Kelce of infidelity during their time together. However, Benberry’s comments seem to have set off the Swifties, and she claims she has become the target of serious hate.

“Swifties are aggressive,” Benberry said. “Very negative, very hypocritical. It’s really crazy to me that someone I admire as positive and nice has such a negative and angry fanbase.”

Despite the backlash, Benberry insists she has no issue with Taylor Swift and doesn’t care if she ends up dating her ex. However, she did point out, “I had him first.”

Addressing claims that she’s seeking her “15 minutes of fame,” Benberry adamantly denies being in it for the clout. She explains, “It’s nothing about Taylor. It’s more about you leading me to believe that we had a future. And now, five years later, you’re laughing and I feel like you’re mocking me.”
