The Summit: Britney Spears’ Wild Stories and the Famous Beverly Hills Mansion

Britney Spears has revealed a multitude of wild and crazy stories from her mid-2000s days in her new memoir. These stories revolve around a famous Beverly Hills mansion known as The Summit, which gained notoriety on the night she was institutionalized.

Located in an exclusive gated community, The Summit, the spacious 7,500-square-foot home was deemed “paparazzi-proof” due to its level of privacy. It boasted luxurious amenities such as a home theater, chef’s kitchen, saltwater swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a sprawling backyard.

Britney moved into this bougie pad in 2007, shortly after filing for divorce from her ex-husband Kevin Federline. She still resided in the mansion during her well-documented meltdown in early 2008, which resulted in her being placed on a mental health hold.

During the incident, paramedics were called to the mansion to transport Britney, as photographers swarmed the scene and TV helicopters captured the chaos from above.

In 2012, Britney sold the mansion for a whopping $4,253,000, surpassing the original asking price by over a million dollars. It received multiple offers before finally being sold.

Shortly after her departure, Britney moved in with her then-fiancé Jason Trawick, leaving behind the mansion and its iconic history. However, the mansion changed hands again in 2021 when it was sold by real estate stars Josh and Matt Altman for $6.1 million.

With its rich history and illustrious past, Britney’s former mansion at The Summit continues to fascinate, capturing the attention of fans and curious onlookers.
