“Teenagers Accused of Killing Ex-Police Chief Laugh in Court, Taunt Victim’s Family”

Two teenagers accused of running over a retired police chief with a stolen car seemed to find the whole court appearance hilarious. The pair smirked at the victim’s family and even flipped them off, showing a complete lack of respect.

Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom facing charges of murdering former top cop Andreas Probst, as well as other serious felonies.

An 8NewsNow camera crew caught the suspects in their blue jail uniforms, grinning and laughing throughout the court proceedings.

At one point, they even covered their faces with their hands to avoid the cameras. But as they were being escorted out of the courtroom, they couldn’t resist taunting Probst’s wife and daughter with smug grins and offensive gestures.

Probst’s daughter, Taylor, had some strong words for the teens, saying, “These guys did not respect the court whatsoever. They were just dicking around the entire time.”

She continued, “They were flipping us off. How can you sit there after taking a man’s life and act like such an entitled punk?”

The incident occurred on August 14 when the suspects allegedly intentionally rammed into Probst, who was riding his bicycle. Earlier that day, they had also crashed into another cyclist, but fortunately, that person only suffered minor injuries.

In both cases, the teenagers filmed themselves laughing during the deliberate attacks. Surveillance footage shows them running away from the police, with one even wearing a face mask.

Both Ayala and Keys are currently being held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center.
