Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Movie Set for Worldwide Release on October 13th

Taylor Swift’s New Movie Set to Release Worldwide

Taylor Swift is taking the world by storm with her new movie release. The singer announced on Tuesday that her forthcoming ‘Eras’ tour documentary will be opening globally on October 13th. This comes in addition to its already planned North American release in a couple of weeks.

In her announcement, Taylor wrote, “The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide… 🌎 Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!”

The expanded rollout is nothing short of impressive. The ‘Eras’ movie will be playing in over 100 countries, including every single Odeon theater across Europe. AMC Theaters, Taylor’s partner in distributing the film, has stated that they are expecting over 7,500 theaters worldwide to show the movie simultaneously.

Months ago, when Taylor first announced the North American release, her fans quickly snapped up tickets, breaking records with sales amounting to approximately $26 million in just one day. Estimates suggest that ‘Eras’ could earn over $100 million during its opening weekend.

It’s no surprise that Taylor is making headlines left and right. In addition to her movie announcement, she is also making news with her rumored relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star, Travis Kelce.

And the good news keeps coming for Taylor. She will be re-releasing her ‘1989’ album in October and has plans to continue touring internationally in 2024.
