Sophie Turner is having a little tiff with Joe Jonas over their two kids.
Sophie claims that Joe is unlawfully keeping their children in New York City, and she wants them “returned” to England with her.
In April 2023, Sophie and Joe made England their “permanent home,” with plans to raise the kids there and have them attend school in the UK.

Sophie believed that England would be a safe place to raise their kids, and they were both on board with the plan. She even listed all the activities the kids have enjoyed in England in her legal documents.
However, Sophie reluctantly agreed to let the kids stay with Joe while the Jonas Brothers were on tour in the US. This was because she was busy shooting a demanding series.
According to Sophie, the agreement was that she would return to New York in September after filming to “collect the children and return home to England.”
During a meeting this past Sunday, Sophie reminded Joe of their agreement to take the kids to England. However, Joe refused to return the kids’ passports and send them back to England with Sophie.
The Messenger was the first to report on the legal battle.

Sophie has filed legal documents in federal court, invoking the Hague Convention, an international treaty that deals with child abduction across country lines. She is seeking a court order to demand Joe to produce the passports and return the kids to her.
By the way, Sophie also reveals the reason behind their split. They had an argument on August 15th, and Joe filed for divorce on September 1st. Sophie found out about the divorce through the media on September 5th. Although they agreed the kids would follow her to England in September, Joe’s attorney contacted Sophie’s team on September 19th to inform them that the kids would not be returning to England.
We reached out to Joe’s camp, but there has been no response so far.
