Reality TV Star Erica Mena Speaks Out About Firing from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and Producers’ Hypocrisy

Reality TV star Erica Mena is speaking out about her recent firing from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” and she’s not holding back. Mena claims that the show’s producers are being hypocritical by creating a special roundtable discussion about the incident, considering they initially supported her until her controversial episode aired.

The roundtable, set to air on VH1, is hosted by “colorism expert” Dr. Sarah L. Webb and will feature cast members Lil Scrappy, Yung Joc, and Spice. Spice, who was the target of Mena’s racially insensitive comment, leading to her firing, will also be taking part in the discussion.

Mena took to social media to share her frustration, stating that she was still actively working on the show even days after the incident with Spice aired. She believes that her firing occurred only as a response to public backlash.

A source close to Mena revealed to TMZ that she feels silenced by the network, as she has not been allowed to participate in the roundtable discussion. Mena also points out that she continued to work on the show for several months after the incident, which further supports her belief that she is being shut out to avoid more public backlash.

As of now, Viacom, the parent company of VH1, has not responded to requests for comment.
