Nicki Minaj‘s husband is back in prison … sort of. Kenneth Petty found himself in home detention for up to 120 days because he decided to threaten Offset on social media. According to court documents, obtained exclusively, Petty violated his federal probation by “making threatening remarks while in the company of someone with a criminal record.” A judge has ordered Petty to be placed on house arrest for a maximum of 4 months to closely monitor his activities. As part of the monitoring, Petty may potentially be required to wear an electronic GPS ankle bracelet, although this decision is yet to be made. Petty’s latest troubles began last week when he posted an Instagram video with two friends, all getting vocal about Offset. Standing across the street from an NYC hotel where Offset was supposedly staying, the trio seemed a bit menacing. In response, Offset later shared his own video on social media, which showed him laughing on the tarmac outside his private jet, nowhere near the hotel. Clearly, the Feds didn’t share the same sense of humor, as they wasted no time intervening and putting a halt to Petty’s antics! Throughout the years, Petty has had his fair share of run-ins with the law, including convictions for attempted rape and attempted murder, resulting in multiple prison stints. In 2022, he was sentenced to 3 years probation after failing to register as a sex offender in California.
