Julio Urias, the Los Angeles Dodgers star, allegedly got into an altercation with a woman at a soccer match earlier this month, leading to her suffering from a bloodied nose, strangulation marks, and redness on her face, as per insider sources. According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred on September 3 during the LAFC vs. Inter Miami match at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. It is said to have started after Urias took pictures with female fans. As the woman was walking towards a gate, she became upset over the picture-taking and left early. It was then when Urias allegedly came up from behind her, put his arm around her, slammed her against a fence, and pulled her hair. Law enforcement sources claim that Urias swung at her, although it remains unclear if he landed a punch. Urias’ entourage intervened to break up the scuffle, but later on, after both Urias and the woman got into a car service, further incidents may have occurred. Urias was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with a felony domestic violence offense. The Dodgers have removed him from the team, clearing out his locker and erasing his images from Dodger Stadium. The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities interviewing witnesses and searching for additional video evidence. The MLB has also placed Urias on administrative leave while they conduct their own investigation into the allegations. Urias, a left-handed pitcher, had an inconsistent season, finishing with an 11-8 record and a 4.60 ERA. His last appearance for the Dodgers was on September 1.
