Joe Jonas seemed to find solace in the presence of his brother Nick Jonas. The two were spotted grabbing dinner at The Waverly Inn in NYC the night before Joe’s estranged wife, Sophie Turner, hit him with a lawsuit over their kids’ custody. Two-thirds of the Jo Bros were at The Waverly Inn in NYC Wednesday night, and it looked like Joe and Nick were engrossed in conversation as they dined.
By the way, it’s worth mentioning that this spot is just a couple of blocks away from where Sophie was hanging out with Joe’s other ex, Taylor Swift, the night before. Seems like they can’t get too far away from each other!
As we previously reported, Sophie claims Joe is illegally keeping their two kids in New York and wants them brought back to England. She even cited an international treaty dealing with child abduction across country lines. She’s clearly serious about getting her kids back.
In response, Joe’s rep issued a lengthy statement, emphasizing that Sophie’s wishes would violate an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. However, he also reiterated that he’s open to sharing custody with her if she moves to England full-time.
