We're now learning more about what led to the child abuse charge leveled against Jenelle Evan's husband, David Eason. Apparently, he decided to give Jenelle's 14-year-old son, Jace, a rough time, resulting in some visible marks on the poor kid's body. According to court documents that somehow ended up in TMZ's hands, Eason is facing accusations of causing physical harm to Jace, leaving noticeable marks on his right arm and the left and right side of his neck. The injuries were definitely not an accident. While the court documents don't provide explicit details of the incident, it is interesting to note that it occurred on September 28. Hmm, that's the same night Jace decided to run away from home by slipping out of his bedroom window and disappearing into the nearby woods. Could there have been some sort of altercation between Jace and David before the kid made his great escape? We can't say for sure, but there may be some video evidence in the hands of both the police and child protective services that could shed some light on the situation. In case you didn't catch it earlier, September 28 was also the night that Jace repeatedly demonstrated his mastery of the art of running away, marking his third escape in just a month. Thankfully, the police were able to locate him eventually. For now, it seems that Jace is in the custody of his grandma, Barbara, and not with Jenelle. As for Jenelle, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the matter. In a statement, she expressed her lack of trust in anyone around her, including her own family members. Looks like she's been hearing a lot of different stories from different people, some of whom have betrayed her. Poor Jenelle, she just can't catch a break. She ended her statement with these words, "I'm being fed all these different stories from different people. People trying to get on my good side…only to betray me over and over again."
