Jack-in-the-Box Employee Fires Gun at Angry Customer over Curly Fries: Shocking Footage and Legal Consequences

The Curly Fries Conundrum: Jack-in-the-Box Employee Fires Gun at Angry Customer

One Jack-in-the-Box employee got a little too trigger-happy while dealing with an angry drive-thru customer. In a surprising turn of events, the employee pulled out her gun and fired as the customer tried to flee the scene.

The Incident Caught on Video

This insane footage has recently emerged as part of an ongoing lawsuit filed by a man named Anthony Ramos against the fast food chain. The incident in question took place in 2021 and reportedly shows Ramos and the JITB worker clashing over a missing order of curly fries.

A Heated Exchange

Ramos and his family, including his pregnant wife and young daughter, stopped by a Houston-area Jack-in-the-Box for a combo meal. When Ramos discovered missing items in his order and brought it to the attention of the employees, things quickly escalated into a heated argument.

Flying Food and a Pistol

The argument became so intense that Ramos started throwing pieces of food back at the JITB drive-thru crew. This prompted employee Alonniea Fantasia Ford to retreat into the restaurant and return with a pistol in hand.

Caught on Surveillance

The surveillance footage obtained by Ramos and his legal team clearly shows Ford firing multiple shots at Ramos and his car as they speed away from the scene.

Negligence and Legal Consequences

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. However, Ramos and his family are now taking legal action against Jack-in-the-Box, claiming negligence in their hiring process that led to this dangerous situation.

A Plea and Damages

Ford is reportedly being sued and has already faced legal consequences for her actions. She allegedly pleaded guilty to a deadly conduct charge and served her sentence. Ramos is seeking a minimum of $250,000 in damages. Jack-in-the-Box has yet to respond to the released footage.
