Drake’s ongoing tensions with Megan Thee Stallion have resurfaced once again, this time due to a seemingly harmless shoutout he gave during his Houston concert.
At the September 18 show, Drake took a moment to shout out photographer MegYup by name, playfully saying, “Real H-Town love, shout out to Meg one time for real … not that Meg, this Meg.”
Given his previous diss towards the Houston rap star on the track “Circo Loco,” fans went wild with speculation once the clip started circulating on social media.
MegYup, however, took to her own social media to clarify the situation and called out unintelligible trolls for ruining her moment. Eventually, she decided to let it go and simply plugged Drake’s upcoming album.
Alex Spiro, who represented Megan Thee Stallion during her trial against Tory Lanez, stated that Drake and other doubters would have egg on their faces ahead of the verdict. And as history shows, the verdict ended up going in their favor.
Drake has yet to address his “Circo Loco” lyrics, but he also hasn’t mentioned Megan Thee Stallion again since the verdict came out.
