Strange things always seem to happen when celebrities are involved, and this time is no different. Controversial talk show host Alex Jones recently found himself in a rather unexpected situation during an appearance on Craig Jones’ podcast. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champ decided to put Alex to sleep with a super tight rear-naked choke!
During the episode of “El Segundo Podcast,” Craig, who is known for his impressive skills in strangling people, managed to live out the fantasy of many of Alex’s opponents. He swiftly put the Infowars host to sleep right there in his chair on set.
The details leading up to the submission remain unclear, but one thing is for sure – Alex was surprisingly game for it. Given Craig’s reputation as one of the best in the world when it comes to strangling people (he even coaches Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya), it’s no wonder it didn’t take long for him to excel in this endeavor.
Craig, seemingly amused by the whole incident, shared a video of the choke on social media. In the caption, he jokingly wrote, “The CIA sent me, but I couldn’t do my dad like that.” However, it’s important to note that there is no father-son relation between Craig and Alex.
In the video, the choke is already well underway when it begins. After approximately 8 seconds of pressure, Alex’s eyes roll back, and he falls into a state of unconsciousness. Almost 10 seconds later, he finally regains consciousness, but the confusion is evident on his face – a common reaction among those who have experienced a choke.
Presumably, there will be more videos to come as Craig plans to release them when the podcast episode debuts. It seems like this encounter will be one for the books!
For fight fans, scenes like this may not be completely unfamiliar. Rear-naked chokes are often seen in MMA fights and are one of the fundamental moves in Jiu-Jitsu, as it restricts blood flow to the carotid artery.
