Bruce Springsteen, the legendary musician, has made the difficult decision to cancel all of his remaining concerts for the year. This comes as he continues to recover from a recent health issue.
In a statement released by Springsteen & the E Street Band, it was revealed that the singer has been steadily recovering from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks. Based on doctor’s advice, he will continue treatment for the remainder of the year.
Due to this unforeseen circumstance, all scheduled concerts for the rest of 2023 will be postponed. The band emphasized that this decision was made out of an abundance of caution. The rescheduled dates will be announced in the coming week, and fans who are unable to attend the new shows will be able to receive refunds.
In a heartfelt message, Springsteen thanked his friends and fans for their well wishes and support. He expressed his excitement to see everyone next year once he has fully recovered and is back on stage.
The Boss had an extensive lineup of shows planned for the remainder of the year, including New York, DC, Ohio, Canada, Arizona, and California. Unfortunately, those plans have now been changed, but the anticipation for his return is higher than ever.
