Bill Cosby Accused of Sexual Assault Dating Back 50 Years: Lawsuit Details

Bill Cosby Sued for Alleged Assault Dating Back 50 Years

Bill Cosby finds himself in legal trouble yet again. The comedian is facing a lawsuit from one of his accusers, Donna Motsinger, who claims that Cosby sexually assaulted her over 50 years ago. Motsinger alleges that the incident took place in 1972 when she worked at the famous Trident restaurant in Sausalito, CA, which was a popular spot for celebrities at the time.

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Motsinger claims that Cosby would visit the restaurant regularly just to see her. Eventually, he invited her to accompany him to his show at the Circle Star Theater in San Carlos. Motsinger states that Cosby picked her up in a limo and gave her a glass of wine during the ride. She alleges that Cosby then took her to a dressing room where she began to feel sick and was given what she believed to be an aspirin.

Motsinger recounts that she took the pill and started to feel drowsy, falling in and out of consciousness. She claims that Cosby’s handlers put her back in the limo with him, and her last memory was seeing flashes of light. The following morning, she woke up in her house wearing only her panties and realized that she had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby.

This is not the first time Motsinger has come forward with accusations against Cosby. In 2014, she spoke out about a similar incident. Now, she is seeking justice through the lawsuit, citing mental, physical, and emotional distress she has suffered as a result of the alleged assault.

TMZ reached out to Cosby’s camp for a comment but has not received a response at the time of writing.
