While on the road to recovery, Bam visited First Hand Tattoo in Pennsylvania to get a fresh ink that pays homage to none other than Britney Spears. The tattoo reads, “Britney Spears ❤️ Oops they did it to me too!”
According to Bam, the tattoo holds a significant meaning. He refers to it as the “Florida shuffle,” a term used to describe substance abusers with good health insurance in Florida who are repeatedly sent to different rehab centers, resulting in repeated charges to their insurance. Bam sees parallels between his own experiences and Britney Spears’ conservatorship, claiming that his interventionist is cashing in while keeping him in rehab.
This isn’t the first time Bam has seen similarities between himself and Britney. Earlier this year, while working on standup material with Steve-O, Bam referred to himself as “the Britney Spears of ‘Jackass’.” He’s clearly finding humor in the situation and using it as inspiration in his creative endeavors.
Despite his struggles, Bam is making positive changes in his life. He recently celebrated his one-month sober milestone and has been focusing on skateboarding and spending time with his girlfriend, Dannii, on a farm outside Philadelphia. With a tighter circle of positive influences around him, Bam is on the right track to a healthier and happier future.
