Jason Alexander, Britney Spears‘s ex-husband, is throwing shade at her claim that their marriage was a result of drunkenness and boredom. According to Jason, their love was true and sober. Jason, who had a whirlwind marriage with Britney that lasted only 55 hours in 2004 before being annulled, is telling TMZ that Britney’s memoir should not be trusted when it comes to their marriage. In her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” Britney admits that she and Jason were heavily intoxicated when they tied the knot in Las Vegas back in January ’04. She also clarifies that their love was not genuine. Britney further explains that at that time in her life, she was simply drunk and bored, leading to their impulsive decision to get married. Well, Jason completely dismisses this narrative, claiming that they were madly in love and not under the influence of alcohol. Interestingly, their wedding officiant even backed up this version of events in a previous interview. According to Jason, they have been friends since childhood, and he still cares for and loves Britney. However, he refuses to buy her memoir and would only accept a copy if it was signed. Even then, he jokingly admits he’d probably sell it for a high price. Looks like their love story is not as romantic as it seemed! Britney has been dropping bombshells in her memoir, and Jason doesn’t hold back with his opinions. He criticizes Britney’s decision to have an abortion during her pregnancy with Justin Timberlake, calling it a “horrible decision.” Jason also offers his take on Britney’s nude photo posts, labeling them as “childish behavior” from a mother. He believes that Justin cheated on Britney and broke up with her in response to her alleged infidelity. That’s his two cents!
